We tweet about things that are not related to our work.

Unwanted Hair
■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■
Now that it’s June, the temperature has risen and I’m starting to wear short pants more often.
The other day, I was very worried about the shin hair on my short legs sticking out from my short pants.
When I was taking a bath that night, I found myself cutting my shin hairs with scissors in the bathroom.
When I got out of the bath and checked my shin hair, I noticed that there was hair growing on the calf side as well. Or rather, it bothered me.
The next day, when I took a bath, I shaved my calves with a shaver and lightly cut off the hair on the rest of my body except my face with scissors.
Are the hairs that are called “wasted” really wasted?
I was a little curious, so I did some research.
The answer was clear: nose hair, ear hair, eyebrow hair, and eyelash hair prevent dust and dirt from entering the body.
However, I couldn’t get a clear answer about shin hair.
It seems that in the days when people didn’t have the habit of wearing clothes, the hair on the shins was used to “maintain body temperature” or as a “cushion” to soften stimuli from the outside world.
When I told this to my colleague at work, he told me that he had already trimmed his body hair and was very brave.
This made me feel closer to him than ever.
By the end of summer, I might find myself with a smooth and clear body.

Sushi
■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■
Do you like sushi?
We have it at least once a month in our house.
I heard that Kappa Sushi, one of the major kaiten-zushi (conveyor-belt sushi) chains, launched a new product on May 28th.
Its name is “Honki Shari.
The rice is made from “Haenuki,” a brand of rice produced in Yamagata Prefecture, and only three pieces of rice are set in a plate.
The rice is made from “Haenuki,” a brand of rice produced in Yamagata Prefecture.
It’s a product that shows a lot of confidence and enthusiasm, as you can taste only the rice without soy sauce.
Personally, I am more interested in the rice than the ingredients, so this is very attractive news to me.

Migraine
■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■
I often get migraines when I spend a lot of time sitting at my desk, teleworking, etc.
I often get migraines when I spend a lot of time in a sedentary work environment.
If the symptoms are too severe, I often feel nauseous.
I’m sure there are many people who suffer from migraines as well.
It seems that most migraines are caused by genetic factors.
My mother used to complain, “My head hurts, I have a migraine. My mother used to complain that she had a headache.
It seems that the United Kingdom is the country with the highest number of migraineurs, and many of them are absent from work due to headaches.
It is said that the annual economic damage caused by migraines is more than 3 billion pounds (about 40.7 billion yen).
How to prevent migraines
Get a good night’s sleep.
Exercise
Relieve stress
Increase your water intake.
In my case, especially after increasing my water intake, the frequency of migraines clearly decreased.
For those who have migraines, lack of water can also be a factor in developing headaches.
If you are suffering from headaches, try to consciously increase your water intake.
I recommend it.

A Modern Version of Momotaro
■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■
Momotaro is one of the most popular Japanese folktales.
The story is based on the pattern of a baby being born when the grandmother breaks a peach she finds in the river.
In the modern age, this pattern is used in picture books as well.
In modern picture books, this pattern is adopted first.
It seems to be becoming more and more famous.
From a practical point of view, it seems difficult to realize both birth from peaches and rejuvenation.
Even though the vitamins in peaches have antioxidant properties, they do not rejuvenate.
However, if the story is about an elderly couple who were not blessed with a child, and they pick up an unidentified baby and raise it as if it were their own.
This story may have actually happened.
When Momotaro started to worry about his origins, his grandfather and grandmother told him, “One day, a baby washed up from the river.
When Momotaro starts to wonder about his origins, his grandfather and grandmother explain to him that he was born from a peach that came down from the river one day.
Momotaro realizes this is a lie, but he pretends to believe it so as not to embarrass them.
Even after Momotaro realizes this is a lie, he pretends to be convinced so as not to embarrass them, and advocates “Momotaro, born from a peach.
If there is such a modern novel version of Momotaro, I would like to read it because it sounds interesting.

Dried Sour Plums
■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■
The other day, I received a call from my mother’s family, asking me to help them pick plums.
When I went there, I was a little impressed to see that the plum trees were full of fruit.
There is a small river flowing right next to the plum trees, so to prevent the fruit from falling into the river, I laid out a blue sheet underneath and climbed up on a stepladder to knock the branches of the trees with a bamboo stick.
I then climbed up on a stepladder and beat the tree branches with a bamboo stick. As I did this, the still green plums fell out, and I picked them up and put them in a bucket.
My wife was beating the branches with a bamboo stick and I was picking up the plums, but she was so amused that she was beating the branches so hard that the hard green plums kept falling on my head.
My wife laughed at my pain from the top of the stepladder, but she didn’t stop.
Thanks to her, I was able to harvest 15 kg of plums.
My mother taught me how to make dried plums, and I immediately started making them.
First, I soaked the plums in water for about three hours to remove the lye.
Wipe off the water with kitchen paper and put 1kg in a ziplock. Add 17% to 18% salt to 1kg of plums, rub well, remove the air, and store in the refrigerator.
At the end of the rainy season, dry the plums in the sun for a few days and they will be ready to be dried.
I am looking forward to seeing the finished product.

School Shoulder Bag
■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■
Just the other day.
I took my own mother with me.
I went to buy a school bag for my daughter, who will enter elementary school next year.
We went to Tsuchiya Bag Shop which is well known in the industry.
When I was shopping for my brother’s school bag
But why did we go there for my daughter?
I thought, “Why go there for my daughter?
But my daughter and my wife seemed to have a feeling about it.
From my son’s point of view, who already wears it every day.
Why do I have to go with you?
So he reluctantly came along.
In this day and age.
It took me about 30 minutes to try on and buy the items.
You can try on and buy in 30 minutes.
There was a limit of four people per family.
We were already over the limit.
While my daughters were choosing, my son and I were looking for a cafe to take a break
in the light rain.
We looked for a cafe to take a break.
(It was in the city center, so we had to pay city center prices…)
About halfway through the school year.
It was about six months before the school entrance.
I knew that the school bag selection had already started about six months before the school entrance.
But it’s only in the last few years that people have started to make a fuss about it.
If you are one of the early birds
It seems to be getting earlier every year.
The design and performance of school bags
are evolving rapidly.
The price is also becoming more and more reasonable.
We, too, had to rely on my grandma’s purse.
Eventually.
I’m sure she’s going to throw it at the front door
I hope she will use it for 6 years.
I hope she will take good care of it for the next 6 years.

Live Music Concerts
■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■
How is everyone doing with this corona disaster?
It’s called WITH corona or a new way of life, and the new coronavirus has become a part of our lives.
It can’t be helped anymore, but I’m sad that I can’t go to live concerts as I love music.
I listen to a wide range of genres, so I used to go to everything from small, bass-heavy clubs to big outdoor festivals.
I haven’t been able to go for a long time.
As a way to break the ice, live streaming without an audience has become the mainstream.
I’ve attended a few of them, and I feel that there is a big difference between the advantages and disadvantages…
Advantages
You can always participate. You don’t have to worry about the ticket lottery.
You don’t have to pay for accommodation or transportation.
You can watch the show from the comfort of your own home without being jostled by the audience.
You can see the artists up close and personal because there are no seats to choose from.
Even if you miss the show on the day of delivery, you can watch it later in the archives.
Disadvantages
There is no one around you to have fun with, so it’s very lonely.
Even if you watch it at home with your family or friends, you can’t make as much noise as at a live concert.
You can’t see the artists in person, regardless of the distance.
I can’t take pictures, buy goods, or do other memorable things at the live venue.
This is just my personal opinion.
It’s great to be able to see your favorite singers, but when you take your eyes off the TV
I didn’t like the fact that I would see my room and be pulled back to reality.
However, I think it’s a very good point that there is basically no lottery for tickets and you can always attend.
In any case, I just hope it all comes to a head and normal soon.

Natto( Fermented Soybeans )
■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■
Natto is an ancient Japanese health food.
But, people have different likes and dislikes about it.
It is a unique Japanese food with its own peculiarity.
It is so sticky and stinky that you wouldn’t even think it was food.
I am from Taiwan, and I used to avoid natto.
Because of Corona, the world was in a mood of self-restraint, and I could not go out or exercise.
I gained a lot of weight.
I wanted to change my eating habits, and the first thing I thought of was natto.
I looked it up on the Internet and challenged myself to come up with a recipe that would be easy for a natto beginner to eat.
For the first time in my life, I tried eating natto with curry.
It was surprisingly good.
I’m looking forward to your future natto dishes and recipe.
