I love salads and eating every day.

I am especially fond of lettuce, and can be finish a whole ball by myself in two days.

This is why people call me caterpillars.

However, the price of vegetables soared in late September due to unseasonable weather.

The prices of lettuce and cucumbers almost doubled compared to previous years.

Lettuce from Nagano Prefecture, normally priced at 180 to 200 yen per ball, gone up to 435 yen.

Cucumbers from Fukushima Prefecture went from about 50 yen per cucumber going up to 95 yen.

Spinach, cabbage, radishes, and eggplants also skyrocketed in price, so we managed to make do by reducing the volume of salad.

Do not cook for a long time to avoid overcooking the center.
