We tweet about things that are not related to our work.

Second life, October 16th
■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■
This month,
the former coach of
a high school baseball championship died.
One of the students under him had the name of Ryuji Minami.
I’m a big fan of the Nippon Professional Baseball
and I remember Mr. Minami joining Nipon-Ham Fighters in the draft.
He used to have a fastball that
he could throw down from his tall body,
but after he became a professional player,
he had a problem with my right elbow,
and in 1997 he was notified that he was out of force.
After being out of force,
Mr. Minami started working at an air conditioner installation company
after working as a moving part-time job and a kerosene sales part-time job.
It seems that it was very difficult
to install the air conditioner in the midsummer heat wave,
but as a result of working hard,
he went on the road to success.
Then, in 2005,
he established his own company and now has more than 80 employees.
The annual sales are said to be 900 million yen.
Mr. Minami said,
“Even if the company makes a profit,
a company that doesn’t care about its employees will not grow.
About half of our employees now
have an annual income of 10 million yen or more.
It’s a tough job, but if you do it, you can earn as much as you do.
It’s a job and a worthwhile life.
Finally, he wants to live spend a calm life from about 60 years old. ..
He want to keep increasing the sales of the company so that it can be done.
I was deeply impressed by the words of a person
who had been playing baseball
since he was little and was playing team.
I decided to do my best for my colleagues who are working hard at the company.

”I have a professional lunch”
■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■
Speaking of lunch, a convenience store or a cafeteria …
Life has changed completely due to COVID-19, and more people cook their own meals during their “home time.”
Searching for something that can be done easily, fried rice using “cup noodle”.
It seems to be quite famous, so I think many people know it.
1. Put the contents of a cup noodles in a zip lock and shatter them.
(It is recommended to use your feet rather than your hands)
2. Return the shattered noodles to the cup
3. Pour water into the cup (be careful not to overfill, maybe the noodles won’t hide)
4. Add oil to a frying pan and fry the eggs and rice lightly.
5. Add the contents of the cup and fry over high heat.
A high level of fried rice with flavor and ingredients.
It tastes completely different from Chinese-flavored fried rice, so you may like it or not.
If you want to cook easily, please try it.
PS
Recently, I’ve been able to stand in the kitchen and feel more comfortable.

Do you like salmon, everyone?
■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■
In order to provide a stable supply for increasing global demand
of salmon aquaculture is indispensable.
A low water temperature of about 14 degrees Celsius
is an essential condition for growing salmon.
Mainly Norway, Scotland, Chile, Canada, etc.
throughout the year
“Sea surface aquaculture”
of salmon has been carried out in high latitude countries
where the water temperature is low.
However, recently,
the risk of environmental pollution
such as the sea being polluted
due to geographical restrictions and leftover food has increased.
To solve this problem,
a circular water tank was installed
in the onshore plant to filter and circulate artificial seawater.
A farming method called [land aquaculture],
in which salmon is grown and cultivated, is attracting attention.
At present,
land-based aquaculture is more expensive than sea-based aquaculture,
so in the future it will increase production facilities while keeping costs down.
It seems that the point is to increase the scale
and increase the production volume.
Onshore salmon farms will be set up in Japan someday
and fresh salmon will be lined up on the table.
It may be near future!?

Kyoto
■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■
Kyoto is the first place in the world’s most attractive metropolis ranking in 2020
Kyoto, Japan, was selected as the “World’s Most Attractive Metropolis Ranking” in 2020.
This result was announced by a major American travel magazine on October 6th.
Although the number of foreign customers has decreased by 99%,
Kyoto has risen from 2nd place last year to 1st place for the first time.
While tourists’ entry restrictions continue as a measure against new coronavirus,
Kyoto’s persistent popularity has been shown.
In this ranking, Kyoto was evaluated as “an ancient city where you can feel close to the temples
built in the 10th century and traditional entertainment, but it is still reborn.”
Others said that “Along with Sake, the popularity of gin (a distillery was built in Kyoto city) has increased,
and Kyoto has about 100 restaurants with Michelin stars.”
Kyoto is not only a representative city of Japan, but now also a representative city of the world.
By the way, Tokyo has fallen from 1st place last year to 6th place.

Chiba Zoological Park
■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■
I went to see a cheetah at Chiba Zoological Park the other day.
The characteristic of a cheetah is “to run fast” as everyone knows,
but I had never seen a cheetah actually running.
At Chiba Zoological Park, an event called “Cheetah Run” is held
in which cheetahs chase artificial baits and run at full speed.
This event is not only for visitors to enjoy themselves,
but for each cheetah to maintain their health and enhance their reproductive function.
When I think of animals in the zoo, I had the impression that they weren’t feeling well in a small breeding ground,
but the cheetahs which run in the wide feedlot and play with each other there were lively.
By the way, when I work at home and stay in a small room for a long time, I’m not feeling well …
On the other hand, when I go to our office for work, I get motivated by my colleagues and various people,
and somehow feel my health is maintained.

Japan’s “Jo Baiden”
■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■
Yutaka Umeda, the mayor of a small town Yamato in Kumamoto Prefecture, Japan, was trending on social media.
It was because his name can be pronounced similarly to “Joe Biden”.
Kanji characters, which originated in China, often have several pronunciations in Japan.
