We tweet about things that are not related to our work.

Koshien
■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■
The 102nd National High School Baseball Championship (Koshien) has been officially canceled.
The cancellation of the summer Koshien tournament was the first time after the 2nd world war,
It is a judgment that the infection risk of the new coronavirus cannot be reduced to zero.
High school baseball has penetrated the people, and many baseball fans are discouraged to cancel it.
Above all, the ball children who have dreamed of Koshien will feel like they cannot do it.
There seems to be a movement to hold a substitute competition of Koshien, but in what form
I’m interested in doing it.
In addition, the National High School Sports Festival (Inter High) has been canceled for the first time in history,
It seems that this is also considering implementation in prefectures.

September
■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■
As a parent with a child, admission system on September.
The Education Society of Japan
has recently announced some interesting data.
Regarding the admission system on September,
the government will consider whether to introduce it,
due to the influence of COVID-19
Next September,
if they carry out the new system of the elementary school,
it cost about 1.4 times more than as usual.
They announced a trial calculation that
the total burden on the country and households will exceed 6.9 trillion yen.
Promoting the internationalization that
the government thinks of the huge financial expenditure
due to the system transition.
It seems that there is little merit
because the effect of is not expected.
The Education Society of Japan announced their view that
we should be given to quality improvement
to increase the education budget and
employ 100,000 school teachers.
If my son is also as usual,
he will be an elementary school student from April next year,
I`d like to pay more attention to
the whereabouts of the September admission system.

Tokyo Tower business resumption
■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■
Tokyo Tower, the symbol of Tokyo, has reopened its observatory on May 28, since Japanese government decided to lift the state of emergency.
To reduce infection risk, visitors are recommended using the outdoor stairs (about 600 steps) to the main deck, instead of taking elevators.
The use of elevators is limited up to 5 people at the same time, given priority for senior citizens and children.
As an alternative means, they can use the outdoor stairs every day, which was once available only in weekend.
Therefore people go upstairs, getting out of breath under their face masks.
It’s also planned to perform entrance restriction into the tower to avoid overcrowded situations.

Work at home
■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■
To correspond to an emergency declaration,
work at home has started from May in our company.
It seems that this style of working begins to infiltrate in Japan,
as I often hear about it via TVs and radios.
With working at home,
I don’t need to commute to the office,
so I can use time more effectively.
For example I jog and take a shower before working.
This helps me work with refreshing feeling.
On the other hand,
the chance to talk with my colleagues decreases,
so changing in pace is a little difficult.
There seems to be many methods of refreshment,
like listening to favorite music,
enjoying favorite aroma and have some coffee.
In my case,
I enjoy getting exercise and taking the sun.
Since I often work in front of the PC throughout the day,
my stiff neck and shoulders sometimes bother me.
Then these ways are useful for me.
My daughter is a primary school child and has started staying indoors in March.
She said her refreshment method is
“To eat a snack.” and “To pick my nose.”
I wonder if picking nose is suitable as a girl,
but her words convinced me strangely.
For many Japanese workers including me,
it is a first try of working at home.
We might be sometimes confused to adjust to this new-style of working.
If it becomes established in Japan in the future,
we need to make more comfortable workspaces we can concentrate at home.
